Leah Song and Marya Stark come to Glastonbury to share folk music, story, song craft and more. Come out for a workshop to study the art of the craft, including exploring folk choir and honing on your poetic writing skills, and then stay for an evening of music.

Leah Song

Leah Song is a storyteller, song-catcher, and cultural bridge-builder, best known as the frontwoman of Rising Appalachia alongside her sister. As a soloist, Leah incorporates sultry vocals, plays claw-hammer banjo, bodhrán, and guitar, and is a keeper of both traditional and contemporary songs. For over two decades, she has carried her voice across borders, blending Appalachian folk and global roots music into songs that honor both land and lineage. Her repertoire includes Southern folk, old-world balladry, and Appalachian traditionals.

Marya Stark

Marya Stark is an award-winning vocalist, music producer, performer, multi-instrumentalist and international teacher of expressive arts as a path of transformation. Her body of work is steeped in the arts of music therapy, mythical folklore, energetic medicine and womb awakening.

She is a member of Starling Arrow, has independently released 9 albums, and has had her releases have seen airplay from NPR. She is the founder of Temple Of The Muse, where she serves a growing student body in the cultivation of prolific creativity, inner alchemy, womb wisdom, songwriting as soul craft, and vocal empowerment. She is a chaser of waterfalls, a lover of wonder, and a receiver of songs between the worlds.
